(READ THIS) After trying a couple different shower heads here's my honest take:
I bought this mainly because I was losing an embarrassing amount of hair every single shower. I'd already gone through the whole cycle, changed my shampoo multiple times, started taking biotin, tried a bunch of oils. Nothing really worked.
A buddy of mine mentioned filtered water one day and at first I kind of brushed it off. But I went home and spent probably two or three weeks reading everything I could find. Forums, articles, Reddit threads, dermatology blogs. Kept seeing the same thing come up over and over: chlorine strips the scalp, hard water minerals build up around the follicle and essentially choke it out over time.
I live in an area with notoriously hard water so it clicked. I tried 2 different filters from amazon before this one and they didn't really do much, so I thought it was a gimmick. Ordered this because I saw an Instagram ad saying it's dermatologist backed and saw some of the transformations, and honestly had low expectations.
It's now been about 6 weeks and the difference is hard to ignore. Way less hair on the floor of the shower. The water even feels much cleaner compared to the previous filters. I genuinely wish I had done this a year ago. Easily one of the better purchases I've made.
Install was pretty straight forward, unscrew old shower head, screw on new one.
Cons: Wish it came in a handheld option and different colors.
9/10 would recommened.
